The Porsche 936 is a race car made by Porsche in 1976 and conforms to the FIA technical regulations of Group 6; It was designed to run races such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans and to compete in the World Sports Athletics Championships from 1976 to 1986. It is the Porsche 917 sports ground that replaced the world of race type endurance.
It won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1976, 1977 and 1981 and came second in 1978.
