A surprise new entry-level Ferrari GT has been revealed in the city that gives the car its name: Roma. The new front-engined coupé, previewed at a customer-only event in the Italian capital last 15th November) caught Ferrari watchers by surprise with its classical design approach.
A likely coupe counterpart for the Portofino and additional model in the Ferrari range, the Ferrari Roma presents a friendly face and is smooth and flowing in an almost Jaguar-like way. Among Ferraris, the past model that comes to mind from a design point of view is the short-lived 1971 365GTC/4, a 2+2 based on the Daytona.
