The 1996 24 Hours of Le Mans was a difficult race for the Ferrari F40s in general. Unfortunately, the #44 Team Ennea IGOL Ferrari F40 LM, driven by Della Noce, Olofsson and Rosenblad, failed to finish the race and was forced to retire.
At the rear of the F40 LM you can immediately see the aerodynamic change compared to previous years: the rear wing is larger and the car is modified to support this new aerodynamic project.
