Designed by Leonardo Fioravanti at Pininfarina and hand-assembled by Scaglietti, the Daytona represented a radical departure from Ferrari’s traditional rounded, 1960s shapes toward a more aggressive, sharp-edged aesthetic.
The "Plexi" version features a completely smooth, continuous band across the front nose. The headlights are fixed in place under a smoky, transparent plastic cover that spans the width of the car between the bumpers, giving it an uninterrupted, futuristic stare. It features an incredibly long hood with twin rectangular air vents.
The rear section ends abruptly in a sharp, angled Kamm tail fitted with twin circular taillights on each side
