Launched on July 3, 2026, the limited-edition Ferrari 12Cilindri Manuale reintroduces the manual shift experience in a run of 1,499 units. This time Ferrari has gone further: it has renewed the rituals and gestures of the manual gearbox with the new "Manuale by-wire" system. It is not a pure mechanical transmission but an advanced electronic simulation that pairs a physical shifter and clutch pedal with sensors which handle the dual-clutch. The cabin features a physical, open-gate with H-pattern steel gear lever that provides realistic mechanical resistance and acoustic clicks, complete with a traditional three-pedal setup. This innovative system breaks a 14-year hiatus, marking the return of the clutch pedal to Maranello for the first time since the regular production manual ended with the 599 GTB Fiorano and California in 2012.
Compared with standard 12Cilindri, this Ferrari Manuale has an exclusive laser-etched metal side Scudetto logo, five-spoke forged wheels and tailored exterior metal pinstripes with the “manual” logo on the front wheel arch inspired by the legendary 365 GTB4.
