The styling of this car was basically that of the last 330 GTCs produced: the air intakes, necessary for ventilation of the engine compartment, were now on the hood and no longer on the sides of the bodywork. The refined mechanicals, on the other hand, had more substantial new features: the new, larger-displacement V12 offered more generous torque at intermediate revs and greater flexibility combined with livelier acceleration. About two hundred examples were produced.
