The Ferrari 250 GTO is both a road car and a racing car, produced by Ferrari in the early 1960s, it is considered the Ferrari par excellence and is still one of the best known cars of all time.
The number 250 stands for the displacement of each cylinder in cubic centimetres, GTO stands for "Gran Turismo Omologata". This abbreviation would not be used for several years until the unveiling of the Ferrari 288 GTO in 1984.
The 250 GTO was designed for racing, for some the best Ferrari of all time.
BBR has reproduced the first version of the 250 GTO presented to the press in 1962, without the rear aerodynamic appendage and the spartan interior of a real racing car.
