Charles Leclerc continued his strong start to the 2026 season with another podium finish. The 2026 Japanese Grand Prix, held on March 29 at the iconic Suzuka Circuit, crossing the line in 3rd place. Starting from the second row, Leclerc utilized Ferrari’s acclaimed "launch-mode" advantage to pressure the front-runners into Turn 1. While he lacked the ultimate pace to challenge the dominant Mercedes of Kimi Antonelli, Leclerc drove a calculated race, managing his battery deployment effectively.
Leclerc with a podium in Australia and Suzuka and solid 4th place in China, has amassed 49 points and the temporary 3rd position in the Drivers’ Championship.
